The job is to ask questions — it always was — and to ask them as inexorably as I can. And to face the absence of precise answers with a certain humility. - Arthur Miller

A good newspaper (read e-magazine) , I suppose, is a nation talking to itself. –Arthur Miller

i see a lack of developmental reportage.
the questions of journalism will always be,
do you respond to others agenda (koda scam, maovadi violence etc) or do you set the agenda for others.
today (mid feb, 2010) the role is played out by "my name is khan" and sena the nation has responded overwhelmingly in favour of my name is khan and the chapter may seem closed but issues never fade away.

Poverty is caused by march of civilization, poor are relics of past as they are left by the wayside since they lack skills to join the march and are bogged down by trained incapacity to act. The rich have lost it lost the relationships between a man and men, and between men and Man. The two can trade skills and values but what are the institutionalized mechanisms for trading between people who hate ? fear of the other way of life rules the roost . we are all poor as a result.
